Since her retirement from running her Allentown business, La Belle Cuisine-Fine Cookware, she is playing again, but this time, she's fiddling.
Guitar had been Don's primary instrument until he touched an upright bass in 2013. Don loves playing bass and puts up with hauling it from gig to gig.
Don is a composer with a variety of musical genres to his credit. He is thrilled with bluegrass and our band.
Mike has been playing music for most of his life, starting with saxophone as a child. He's been playing mandolin and bluegrass since 2004, when he inherited his great grandfather's 90 year old mandolin.
He's occasionally been spotted playing guitar, fiddle, octave mandolin, and ukulele as well.
Paul is a retired veterinarian. He was a folkie during the 60s, discovered bluegrass in the 70s, and spent most of a year building a banjo under the guidance of Karl Dieterichs at the Bucks County Folk Music Shop.
After a 25 year hiatus, he finally came to his senses and started picking again. He was excited to be invited to join Saucony Grass and is glad he is able to contribute to the group.
